Ofest
The Brief
The largest division of Optus, The Consumer Division, needed a fresh approach to inform, reward and celebrate their staff through a roadshow across 3 states and involving almost 3,000 participants.
Fourth Wall Events have to ensure that the business messages are conveyed in a way that is clear and cuts through, whilst being presented in a fun and entertaining way.
The Approach
Fourth Wall Events has created for Optus, for four years running, a festival style event called Ofest. This event is created to predominantly target the Gen-Y audience whilst also providing engagement for the guests that aren’t specifically this demographic. Ofest is designed as a touring festival music style event with elements such as world food stalls, beat boxing, break dancing, hypnotists, dancers, carnival rides, cocktail mixing classes, exotic beer tasting tents, tea cabanas, lush VIP areas for the award winners and their friends and a stellar line up of some of Australia’s best bands and artists.
The festivals have included TV Rock, Seany B, Vanessa Amorosi, Jessica Mauboy and a range of other brilliant artists. These headline artists rock this afternoon event and ensure that everyone dances, sings and celebrates in real summer festival style.
The Results
The unique Ofest experience that Fourth Wall Events has created has raised the staff feedback on the event to unprecedented levels. This annual extravaganza is one of the most anticipated reward and recognition events on the Optus Consumer calendar.
