DreamBall

The Brief

The DreamBall is a major Sydney charity spectacular which raises much needed funds for the Look Good…Feel Better Foundation, focusing on recovering and dealing with cancer. The event, which is supported by the cosmetic, beauty and fragrance industry, is a fantastic event for a great cause and Fourth Wall Events are proud to have been associated with the DreamBall for many years.

The Approach

Fourth Wall Events worked closely with the event committee which is made up of representatives from all of the major retailers and manufacturers from the cosmetic, beauty and fragrance industry including David Jones, Myer, Revlon, Channel, Trimex, Frostbland, Colgate, News Ltd, and Pacific Publications to name a few. These groups, along with Fourth Wall Events work to secure sponsorship or cleverly sourced elements to create a highly profitable event for the charity, whilst also being a creative and stellar experience for the black tie guests.

Entertainment for this is always highly theatrical, magical and thoroughly dazzling. Over the years it has included Chinese acrobats, aerial stunts, Taiko drummers, live catwalk fashion show, live Greek statues, tap dancers, rock band, swing band, trumpet fanfare and ballroom ballerinas that all worked perfectly with the many celebrity Masters of Ceremonies.

The Results

The huge fundraising effort brings together a large live auction, huge silent auction and donation system that directly changes the lives of cancer sufferers. Year on year this has increased and Fourth Wall Events have enjoyed the relationship and giving back to the community.
